Privacy Policy for FormKeep

      Core Principle: FormKeep does not collect, track, or transmit your personal data. All form snapshots remain strictly on your local machine.
    

1. Zero Telemetry & No Remote Transmission

FormKeep makes zero outbound network requests. There are no backend servers, no analytics services (no Google Analytics, Sentry, or third-party trackers), and no advertising networks.

2. Local IndexedDB Storage

Form snapshots are saved directly to your browser's private IndexedDB database on your local device. This data is isolated within the extension origin and is never accessible to the websites you visit.

3. Strict Password Exclusion

FormKeep never captures password fields (<input type="password">) or fields with authentication and security attributes (such as current-password, new-password, 2FA codes, and PINs).

4. Automatic Cleanup & User Controls

Retention: Old form entries are automatically purged after 7 days by default (configurable from 1 to 30 days).
Per-Site Disable: You can disable FormKeep on any domain with a single click.
Clear All: You can erase your entire history anytime in Settings.
